DON'T STAY HERE! THIS PLACE HAS COOTIES!!! Overall Score: 1
My daughter's girlscout troop had an overnight excursion at the Holiday Inn Catawba Island. Shortly after my daughter came home, she developed a skin rash. I took her to the Dr. who asked if she had recently been in a hot tub, which she was, at the Holiday Inn Catawba Island. The Dr. said the skin rash was a result of poorly maintained hottub e.g. dirty water! I contacted other parents of girlscouts who were at the Holiday Inn Catawba Island with my daughter, and sure enough two other kids had developed the skin rash. When I called the Holiday Inn Catawba Island and explained to management the experience, they were SO RUDE!!! You'd think at least they would offer a refund. I then called the health department. DON'T STAY THERE! THE MANAGEMENT IS RUDE AND THE PLACE HAS COOTIES! If they can't even maintain the hot tub, just think about what's crawling around in the rooms! YUCK!!!
